    Description

    (1) Chrome 4.25" long Dumbbell Sleeve that definitely fits 1" diameter vintage steel dumbbell bars and that MAY fit some 1 1/16" diameter vintage bars, depending on varying tolerances.  Most vintage dumbbell sleeves were 4.5" to 5" in length, intended for 14" to 16" long vintage bars respectively.  Shorter, 4.25" long sleeves (such as this one) were usually meant for 12" vintage bars.  If you plan to use this sleeve on a 14" to 16" bar, then plan on adding either inner collars or some rubber bumpers to ensure your dumbbell will be rackable on most modern dumbbell racks.  Vintage dumbbell bars were typically offered in three diameters:  1", 1 1/16", and 1 1/8" for plates from manufacturers such as York, Weider, Roberts, Billard, etc.  This sleeve will fit a 1" diameter vintage bar and MAY fit a 1 1/16" diameter vintage bar, but will NOT fit a 1 1/8" diameter vintage bar.  The condition of this vintage sleeve is "Used."  What you see is what you get, but overall it is in remarkable condition for its age with few blemishes.  This vintage sleeve will be properly packaged and shipped in a USPS Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box.
