    Description

    One of those souvenirs from a vanished yesteryear vacation, probably one that occurred sometime way back in the last century. I'm thinking this dates to either the 1970s or 1960s. Possibly it is earlier than than that. I have never seen one quite like this. The turtle bank figurine is 'panko breaded" with seashells including a pretty scallop shell. Surprisingly, this colorful glitter galaxy collage of objects adorning the shell is stable. In handling it, I did not experience anyt falling off or scraping off of material. This really displays beautifully and check out the turtle's face which has loads of character and great eyes. Nice glaze on the exposed parts of the turtle! Stopper is missing but could be easily replaced or just left as is, as I don't imagine the person prizing this would want it for an actual bank rather than a beautiful collectible to display.
