    This listing is for one (1) Tagua Nut Hand Carved Sea Turtle
    This turtle figurine was hand carved from a tagua nut, which only grows in the rainforests of Ecuador. These nuts are collected by hand and dried for up to 6 months.  This preserves the land, the rainforest, and provides economic opportunities for the local communities.
    The top and the bottom of the turtle still show the dark coloring of the outside of the nut, while the features of the turtle are the lighter color of the inside of the nut.
    A total weight of approximately 37g with dimensions as shown in the pictures, makes this small yet solid.
    This "vegetable ivory" will make an amazing addition to any collection.
