This listing is for one river cooter turtle shell approximately 11-12" in length.
The can in the photos for size reference is a standard North American pop can.
These river cooter turtle shells are often used to make medicine bags, talking sticks, and other craft projects.
Please note that there is variation from piece to piece as these are natural products. They come in a range of patterns.
Each one is different and if you are really fussy, please ask us for a picture prior to ordering instead of giving us a bad review.
These turtles are not endangered.
Live turtles with a carapace length of less than 4" and viable turtle eggs are illegal to sell in the United States as pets because of concerns with salmonella. We are not offering live turtles on this page. We only offer processed turtle shells, not turtles.
