    -->  We are offering a small group of old US Army buttons we just acquired, all of them dating from the Civil War to possibly some time in the 1880's.  Please NOTE that we are not sure of the exact age of each button, but will describe each to the best of our ability.
    -->  This is an Oregon Militia brass button, featuring the Oregon State Seal and the word "OREGON" on the front. The back is marked, "Pacific Button Co. S. Fran. Cal."  The button measures 7/8 of an inch in diameter.
    CONDITION:   Very Good.
