THE FROG: This heavy-duty tube splitter was constructed to easily score buffer tubes up to 6.0 mm in diameter and with 0.229 – 0.381 mm wall thickness. Scoring a buffer tube makes it easy to break and access the fiber inside.
BUFFER STRIPPER: Each FTS buffer tube cutter is color coded for easier identification. There are 3 colors available: red, blue, and yellow. Each color scores a different-sized tube. The acetal polymer body and carbon steel blade are made for longevity.
SAFETY WIRE TOOL: Safety is our top priority when it comes to splicing tools. Our cutters are safer than knives. Unlike a traditional knife or pair of scissors, our splitter is designed to protect your hands from blade-related injuries.
