    Description

Up for sale is an absolutely perfect vintage pink depression glass sherbet dish in the “Dogwood” pattern by MacBeth Evans Glass!  MacBeth-Evans made the Dogwood pattern from 1929 to 1932, and it’s an extremely popular and collectible pattern!  MacBeth-Evans had a knack for making incredibly delicate-looking glass, but it’s tougher than it looks.  It’s getting harder and harder to find pieces with no damage or utensil marks, but this sherbet dish is a beauty – there are no chips, cracks, bites, or other damage anywhere, and the glass is nice and shiny – no stains, utensil scratches, or oxidation!  It measures 4 inches in diameter across the top, and it's absolutely guaranteed to be vintage – not reproduction or new glass.  I have other pieces in this pattern available for sale in other auctions, so be sure to take a look at my Store!  The Dogwood pattern can be seen photographed in Gene Florence’s “Collector’s Encyclopedia of Depression Glass”.  The buyer will pay shipping.  Shipping will be combined for the winner of more than one item whenever practical.  Shipping is normally within 24 hours after receipt of PayPal payment (if other payment options are desired, please don’t hesitate to inquire). Please feel free to e-mail any other questions or requests for additional photos, and thanks very much for looking!!
