HOW-TO Customize the
F2
Bar
REAL FITNESS PROFESSIONALS KNOW
that choosing your training resistance isn't a question of which resistance works BEST. So just, like using MMA in the ring, the actual question you need to understand is which form of resistance works best based on YOUR current objective(s)
Knowing WHICH resistance to choose and WHEN to use it comes from EXPERIENCE, based on A&P SCIENCE not marketing BRO-SCIENCE. Believing that only one form of resistance is better than another is a naïve over simplification of what causes actual muscle growth and adaptation to occur.
Believing that only one form of resistance is better than another is a naïve oversimplification of what causes actual muscle growth and adaptation to occur.
As a result, sometimes that means you need to train with resistance bands, sometimes you need free-weight,
sometimes chains, sometimes bodyweight, sometimes isometrics...and sometimes you need a big brain solution that combines them ALLN-1.
HOW-TO Use the F2 Bar with our
F2 IsoResistance Bench
The innovative design also makes it easy to transport and store because it can be unscrewed and disassembled into three sections.

7 Training Fundamentals used to Build the new
F2
Bar
This was our original concept of the F2 Olympic Resistance Bar from 2014. We've taken everything learned from that to create the new F2 Bar!
Unlike other fitness bars on the market, many are being designed and sold by entrepreneurs that simply dabble in fitness, not actual fitness professionals. And instead of pushing the envelop developing innovative equipment they just copy each other with the exception of few cosmetic differences. In contrast, the F2 Bar was designed from the ground up by Al Smith, Jr. by leveraging over 35+ years as a competitive life-long natural bodybuilder, personal trainer, fitness consultant, product engineer and inventor.
While this
first-hand expertise
may not mean anything to some people, this experience is
exactly why we made sure that our customers could use our bar with resistance bands, free-weight, body weight, chains and more.
It's why we knew the bar had to:
Able to accommodate the
shoulder spread
(width)
of a wide range of customers instead of making a bar that was too short or yet another one size fits all piece of equipment.
Able to adjust in size based on
functional movement
(i.e. short bar for bicep curls and tricep extensions, long bar for chest press and squats).
Able to use different types of
resistance
based on the desired of muscle failure being sought (Elastic resistance to
safely
exhaust smaller muscle fibers, free-weight resistance to hit larger fibers, isometric resistance for spot training).
Compact
(Easily fits in drawer or backpack).
Affordable
(Purchasing a bar shouldn't require taking out a loan. Because at the end of the day it's still JUST A BAR).
Scale
according to a persons training needs (If you're consistently following a progressive resistance routine, you must force constant adaption with different training modalities. But, see #7).
Able to easily accommodate at least
600lbs Resistance Bands (
400lbs Free Weight
)
with no problem
(Real-World Training Facts: For the average person that trains at home
consistency
is exponentially more important than how much you can lift. Less than 1% of people are professional athletes and don't need to be pushing that type of weight to see
results
. So over building equipment is just waste material and money. If you need more weight, we're the first to suggest you need commercial gym equipment. But at some point, you realize just being healthy and mobile feels better than lifting ones ego and dealing chronic injuries).
Anyone that says these 7 basic fundamental of training aren't important, are likely saying so because their bar wasn't designed with these fundamental training aspects in mind. It's just basic anatomy and physiology.
The Result: A Simple yet Intelligent, Powerful yet Compact, Functional Fitness (F2) Bar
