Automated Image Technology
EXFO's FIP-430B truly eliminates those pesky false-positive results thanks to its automated performance. This probe automatically adjusts to optimize the focus of the image to get the best result. The autofocus feature not only greatly facilitates inspection, but also enables optimized focus adjustment.
The on-board connector endface analysis within the design of this inspection probe helps to provide more accurate test results. This specific probe also comes with a pass/fail LED indicator that can provide an immediate diagnosis of the health and cleanliness of the connector you want to test. Located directly on the probe, the LED lights up either green (pass) or red (fail) to give you an immediate result without any platforms or display screens.
This inspection probe also utilizes EXFO's ConnectorMax 2 software which will help save you time and money in the field. This soft eliminates guesswork by providing a more clear-cut connector endface analysis. This probe will help eliminate the hassle that can be associated with fiber inspection!
Newly Re-Engineered Design
EXFO's new re-engineered design features a protective rubber casing as well as controls that are specifically designed for a more intense field use. Each control is specifically positioned to make your inspection process easier. This probe is also compatible with the entire FTB ecosystem, the MaxTester 700B OTDR Series,
