Recovered on the Charletown road leading out of Winchester, Virginia. This is the coat sized, Superior Quality backmark button that came from England in the Civil War. A push on the face in the center of the "I" as well as a push and bent shank on the back. The shank is loose and moves a little, but not going aywhere.
