    Description

    An excellent example of a 2 piece Richardson Light Guard of Massachusetts Militia button.    Albert# MS-94-A.  Button dates from circa 1855-1865.  Backmark reads  "  SCOVILL.  MF'G.  CO.  WATERBURY.  ".   Nearly all of the gilded finish remains.  Button measures 23.61mm.
