Swivl-eze is a well known brand for ski pylon products and other boat accessories.  This ski pylon is model P926 and is for use with a bass boat where the boat lies so low in the water that your ski tow rope drags in the water. The ski pylon raises up the height so the tow rope is out of the water, eliminating drag.  This model is an adjustable height, ranging from 28 inches to 33 inches.  If you measure from just under the top cap to the bottom of the middle leg, that's where the 28" comes in.  See the label that describes the height adjustment joints (three of them).  It says "WARNING: Must drill all the way through and insert pin before use."  You can see there is a hex screw on the back and you will need an allen wrench (hex key) to loosen.  Then you can move the joint to a different location if you want to change the height, once you drill the new hole.  The yellow center label says:  "WARNING: Do not use this ski pylon with parasails or tubes. This type of use will void warranty and may result in damage to boat or personal injury. Always sit forward and clear of pylon during use."  This means you can't tie a tube or kite to the pylon -- it's meant for a tow rope only.  It is meant to tow a person holding the rope, not an inflatable.  It could drag the inflatable under water.  There is no warranty with this part, as you are purchasing it second hand.  The main label says "SWIVL-EZE Marine, Lancaster, TX 75146, Made in U.S.A.  WARNING:  Tow bar must be secured to base during use. Do not use with permanently attached equipment tied to rope. Failure to follow warnings may result in injury or damage. P926"  The black pads that you hook this to were on the boat that we donated so you will need to buy replacement black pads.  This is a popular piece of equipment so please source out your pads because they don't come with the pylon.  The part weighs about 8 lbs.  The same ski pylon with new model number is selling for over 0.  Local buyer may pick up to avoid shipping costs.  Please contact me if I can answer any questions for you.
